Pullman Bordeaux Lac

EVERYTHING! We booked for connecting rooms, but got upgraded to lake view room (not connected) which is perfect! The beds are comfortable and room is big. View is superb. Location is perfect, just in front of tram stop to go to Bordeaux center but no noise at all! Also close to shopping area (good korean restaurant there). Pool (outdoor) is good too. I dont think the water is heated but it was during a hot day so it was ok to swim. Kids love it! We ate at the restaurant at the hotel too, it was good! Staffs are super helpful with all request & questions we have. Parking (paid) on location so it is handy and we can leave the car after we check out till late. Super recommended!

We went there on the way down to Spain as we have always been very interested to find out about the period when that large area of France was ruled from England. UK. Neither of us can actually remember anything at all about the hotel but the hotel must be excellent for both of us to feel that good after the long drive from Bordeaux to Valladolididdydod. I’m almost certain that we must have been hypnotised on arrival as we cannot remember anything whatsoever about our stay. The only clue was when we were driving out of Bordeaux my wife woke me and said I’d been asleep and groaning with a slight smile and that a custard like substance was pouring out of the corner of my mouth onto my hand knitted tank top. Crazy.

Peace and quiet as the road that runs past hotel road is not busy. Hotel is carpeted so no echoing footsteps above you or outside in corridor. Pleasant and helpful staff. The room was very clean and comfortable with a lovely lake view. Good shower and decent soaps etc. Excellent selection of comfortable pillows for great sleep and good AirCon. Good choice at breakfast and nice outside terrace to sit. Good coffee. Enjoyed the pool, which is a decent size and deep enough to dive in. Tram stop right outside the door. Grimbergen beer on draft is a plus!

We were with friends on a visit to Bordeaux and we all liked the comfort and location of this hotel very much as well as the helpful and efficient staff at Reception. The rooms were a good size and the bathrooms were equipped with everything we required. The beds were very comfortable thus ensuring a good night's sleep. The convenient location of the tram stop just opposite the hotel meant that we could leave our car safely in the hotel car park (for 8.50 Euros per day) and travel into the centre of Bordeaux quickly and stress free. The city's 48-hour transport ticket for 9 Euros per person was good value. We made good use of it on the trams, buses and shuttle boat from the Cité des Vins back to the centre.

The property was very family friendly, a big downstairs area where the children could play pool, football or the piano. There was a pool onsite too, which was great for the children. The tram line outside took you straight into the city centre in about 15mins and is extremely cheap it use.
